Napoleon Machine was founded by Paul Schlatter in February, 2010. Kevin Febrey joined the organization in May, 2011 serving as President and day-to-day manager of the operation.
Napoleon Machine is a contract job shop featuring services of welding, machining, painting, and assembly. We manufacture components ranging in size from 200 lbs to 30T and have machine travels up to 40′(x) X 16′(y).
Napoleon Machine is owned by Paul Schlatter and Kevin Febrey. Paul has extensive experience in the metal service industry and has held positions in industry ranging from owner/president to vice president of marketing in a multi-million dollar organization. Paul holds an undergraduate degree in economics from Hillsdale College and a MBA from the University of Toledo. Paul is a metallurgist and currently owns and operates Dowling Steel, a metal service center.
Kevin Febrey has a broad background in manufacturing and began working in the machine trades at age 16. Kevin has held positions of increased responsibility since 1994 culminating in the general manager position which he held for 8 years at Jerl Machine. He now serves as president of Napoleon Machine. Kevin is a mold maker by trade and has deep knowledge of high performance machining and lean manufacturing. Kevin has been exposed to various industries including stamping dies, gages, fixtures, general machining, and machine building. He holds an undergraduate degree from University of Toledo majoring in operations management and finance and holds a MBA from the University of Toledo.
